Now there is a place where you can "do-it-yourself" wash and dry your dog, using professional equipment, at affordable rates, and have no mess at home

Everything is provided to wash, dry, brush, and nail trim your dog.

Unlimited professional hypoallergenic/tearless conditioning shampoo, raised tub, walk-up stairs, variable speed forced air dryer, super chamois drying towel, smocks, rubber aprons, zoom grooms, rakes, jelly scrubber, safety bath mat, grooming loops, variable spray nozzle, nail clippers, snub nose shears, slicker brushes, cotton balls, face sponges and safety equipment are a standard part of the Juneau Dog Wash. Specialized professional shampoos (heavy duty deodorizer, degreaser, brightening, herbal, coal tar, etc.) and conditioners (remoisturizing, herbal, etc.) are available for an additional charge. Soothing music in a private, clean, comfortable setting, with safety precautions and equipment for pets and owners are part of a regular appointment. Charges are $8.95/quarter hour. There is a half hour minimum, and reservations are in quarter hour segments.

Extra Professional Equipment Package (rental)
Professional heavy duty clippers, blades, combs, shears and thinners, strippers, splitters, nail grinder, ear powder and cleaner, numerous specialty brushes, grooming table, arms and loops, and other equipment is also available for rent, for those who wish to do their own clipping, detailing and styling. Charges are $8.95 per half hour increment (or portion) for this package plus any applicable sales tax.

A tasty treat provides the finishing touch.

Instruction is available in washing and drying techniques as well as ear, nail and foot care, for those who would like to learn (additional charge). Professional shampoos, conditioners, deodorizers, and grooming tools are available for purchase.

Even though it’s called the Juneau Dog Wash, cats are welcome, too.
